Merate (Lecco) - Villa Mary is a period residence of great charm, built in 1880 to make it the summer residence of a Milanese family. The villa is located in the heart of Brianza and is surrounded by a typical Italian garden with a boxwood labyrinth, fountains with water features, statues and other decorative elements in stone, and located within a park finely planted with a total of 6,000 m. The villa is arranged on three levels and features an elegant symmetrical façade, two large panoramic terraces with a pleasant central double ramp staircase that leads to the large halls of the first floor, where we find original fireplaces and finishes of the era. The top floor is an attic while the ground floor has been used as garages, lemon house, technical rooms and sometimes a cellar. The building has a total area of 600 square meters, divided into ten rooms, multi-services, two entrances and a staircase connecting to the various square section floors.
A pleasant place for a family that wants to enjoy the elegance and tranquility of the Brianza area, near Milan; but also an exclusive location for hosting receptions and business events in a context of sobriety and privacy. A short distance from the villa is the small church of Santa Maria Nascente of the Convent of Sabbioncello which can be reached on foot.
