La Punt Chamues - The renovation project of this old Engadine house built in 1595 has been long, but the result is spectacular today. Historically, the house was a single-family house structured in two distinct parts: the residential part overlooking the square and the barn on the back where a beautiful communal garden was recovered. Today there are six apartments each with unique and different features.
It is a home where time has magically stopped four centuries ago. Wood, wrought iron, stones, granite and stone all strictly of the time, are the materials that characterize this fairy-tale house and that have been largely recovered.
The façade preserves traces of lost time: under the plaster still live the typical decorative engravings of the place. While on the main front you can still admire the old sundial.
This apartment is unusual, with original details of the old house that stand out here and there as the restored dry stone wall is left exposed.
It is spread over two floors. The entrance leads directly to the living room that overlooks a terrace with glimpse on the bell tower and the ancient church of La Punt. The kitchen room coexists with the dining area, and the ultra-modern kitchen of Boffi blends with the more rustic mountain furnishings of the dining table and chairs. The warmth of the larch spreads throughout the rooms, with the planks of parquet and furniture and wardrobes made to measure. On this floor there are two large double bedrooms with their beautiful stone bathrooms. On the floor there is also a small guest bathroom. You go to the second floor where there are two other double bedrooms and two bathrooms always made with local stone.
The apartment has a large cellar and two parking spaces in the garage.
This is a holiday apartment intended for FOREIGNERS and Swiss, expenses of 2.3% of notary and transfer paid by the buyer.
